The Davitt Dinner Table

Before Mom and Dad bought the Danish teak dining table and chairs, this was the dinner scene. Russell Wright American Modern dinnerware, crocheted glass cozies, Yellow Ice Formica kitchen chrome table set, and Eternally Yours silverplate service by Rogers Brothers.

This is in the dining room of the house dad bought in Falls Church. Pretty Patty is playing with her rosary beads. Maybe it is Sunday?

Terry how do you know all that stuff about the flatware? Is this the table you still have?

I know all that stuff because it was important to Mom and she told me. Also, I had to polish it and wash it and the names are right there on it. The table is gone. I don't think it made it to our next home, Montgomery.

Grandma Davitt died while we lived here in Falls Church. Dad came home with some of her things and he gave some of them (like a large television) to the nuns at the school for their convent. Wonder if they're kicking around that yellow table?
